APG 121 – Drone haters, Bomber Pilot Heroes, Planes that go Bump in the Night

So, you don’t like drones, huh? Well, apparently neither does a young lady at the beach who attacked a UAV pilot.

USAF Captain Mark Gongol stepped in to help out the United Airlines first officer during a pilot incapacitation event last year. Big Media had a heyday with this one, basically inferring that that airplane would have crashed had it not been for his heroism. Let’s sort it all out, shall we?

A Bonanza pilot had some fuel problems (lack of?) recently in Monroe, LA, and crashed short of the airport. LiveATC audio with this one.
