Hello Capt. Jeff! I’m a huge fan from Falun-Sweden that discovered your podcast like a month ago and have continuously listened to you while a drive a forklift in a warehouse. I’m 29 years old and have a catholic background because i was raised up in South America. I got my Private Pilots Liense in September last year, now I’m studying ATPL theory at Lunds university (Southern Sweden) and working towards a career in aviation as an Arline pilot. (Therese future seems bright as I se it, no matter what people tells me)
I currently have 53 logged flight hours and it is very little flight experience as you can tell, even tough I listen to many informative podcasts in aviation like yours and learn new stuff from time to time. I also use Microsoft Flight simulator with joke, throttle quadrant and rudder pedals and try to make flights as realistic as possible using actual weather condition etc.
I have a wife and 1 son (5 years old) and I try to be as safe as I can in my flying because of them.
And now a little bit of feedback:
1-I love the long podcasts you make. I appreciate when you talk about your personal life, it’s feels like I know you like a good friend while listening to your episodes, and it gives us a glimpse in your emotiona and life situation at the time and I really appreciate it.
2-I like when you cover up accidents/incidents in aviation specialty when you also use real in-cockpit audio with ATC communications. I will like to hear more of that kind of episodes.
3- I would like to her more from an European pilots perspective, maybe if you can interview a European airline pilot and he can tell how is the industri developing over here and what are the changes to come. I’m I going to get hired someday?
4- I read on the news that Ryan air make passangers to pay an extra charge for the obligatory screening process in some airports. That sounds crazy to me. Here is the link to the article.

Be safe Capt. Jeff, I wish you clear sky, unlimited visibility and of course tailwinds.
Regards
A friend from the cold Scandinavian region!
